Does anybody out there in AB-land know anything about a band called Lemon, who in 1971 recorded a version of the Alan Hull song "Lady Eleanor". I heard it when it was new, and preferred it to the more well-known version by Lindisfarne, but for some reason didn't buy the record at the time. I finally laid my hands on it a few days ago (thanks to this wonderful interweb thingy), and it was great to hear it again, but now I'm curious to know something about the above band.

I've tried googling, but there seems to be several bands called Lemon.
This says "not much information about this band".... http://www.lindisfarne.co.uk/archives/misc/covered_songs.htm
this site may be able to give you more info on the band
