I would vote for Linda Ronstadt's version of I Will Always Love You - second only to Dolly Parton's own version - and donated to LR for her album - Dolly sings backing vocals on it as well.

This is not to be confused with Whitney Houston's hymn of praise to a well-known internet company - 'I Will Always Love Yahoo' which, apart from a vaguely similar title, bears not resemblence whatever to this classic song

Cliff Richard - Lord's Prayer to Auld Lang Syne tune.
Every pop star- Rihanna, kylie minogue, etc etc. I think all the manufactured music is completely characterless.
Boyzone - Father & Son.
You meant "omit" and not "emit"?
Without a doubt
