I recently watched some old Benny Hill Shows. He had a trio of girl singers called the Ladybirds. I think they were terrific. Does anyone know if they recorded on their own? Released an LP or possibly are on a CD?

I remember the Ladybirds being on loads of 70's TV shows. I think one of the singers was also in The Pearls who had a 1974 hit with 'Guilty', which I really loved at the time. Don't know if the Ladybirds had any records released though, sorry.
The Ladybirds were formed by Maggie Stredder, formerly of the Vernons Girls.  She was known for her large spectacles.  Also in the trio were Gloria George and Marian Davies.  They were later joined by Penny Lister.  Maggie Streder is still going strong as a singer and after-dinner speaker. I do think that they released any records.  Hope this helps.
I agree with the previous answers. However I would like particularly to ask boaw, who subscribed a more detailed answer, to tell me if he happens to know the whereabouts of Gloria George.I lost touch with her back in 1974.We were great friends with her and her late husband George Pastellides,an actor, whilst in London in the50s.His proffessional name was George Pastel. Also any trace of the other members of the Ladybirds mihgt help our efforts. If we, myself and my wife, find Gloria we shall be very happy indeed. We live in Cyprus. Can anybody else help us?
