Trying To Find A Song

i have heard a couple of times, don't know the title, as i was in a shop both occasions when i heard it, only known words, House Party, i have listened to a couple on line, one with such vile lyrics it most definitely wasn't that
by someone called Meek Mills
its not the DJ Antoine one either i don't think, it is more R&B, funky,
with a solo guy singer. I liked it, and wondered if anyone recognises it.

If you have no luck on here finding it, emmie, maybe you could go back to the shop where you heard it and ask then if they know what it's called.

i actually think that House Party is in the title, but i looked up some and the lyrics make you feel queasy.. this is very bouncy, R&B, dance to but not rap music, odd because i heard it on two occasions but not in music shop, so couldn't ask what it was.

Emmie - there is no reason why you can't ask the shop staff what it is. They might know. We did that in a restaurant once with success

its not rap, it's much slower, more funky, not the one by the show stoppers as i remember that years ago. This is one guy, i can't even remember which shops i was in, but clothes shops, not supermarket...

Can you give an example of a similar song pleas Emmie. I'm guessing it's something from the last few years, but with a softer sound rather than rap or electro or dubstep.

Try the app called SoundHound. I think it's free. You tap in the rhythm and it comes up with possibilities. I've only tried it once and it came up with the song I trying to find.

FF not really, more fun, not dub, rap, or heavy duty garage, think kind of Nile Rodgers, i only heard part of the song as i was trolling around the shops, strange that several days later was in another shop and don't remember which one, and this same song came on - i should have asked but felt a bit daft. sure its one guy, not a band. It wasn't the sort of soul, R&B of the 60's, 70's.
