For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I would advise you to choose carefully - although there are some lovely hymns around, if you doubt whether many of either family will know them, it can be slightly uncomfortable. If you think this might be the case I would suggest is pick some of the common hymns like "Morning has broken", "All things bright and beuautiful", "the Lord is my shepard", etc. - I've heard them all at weddings.
However, if you have families that are going to be familiar with most hymns, then I can only suggest my favorites: "Love Divine", "Great is thy faithfulness" and "O Perfect Love", which is particularly appropriate. And "Let there be love" is a nice tune to have played while you sign the register.

Having been to many weddings where nobody seems to know the tune of the hymn apart from the choir may i suggest the one that goes........
