Quivering wreck

What about songs that reduce you to tears, turn you to jelly, you know, where you become a complete quivering wreck. I've got loads but one that is guaranteed to do the business is "New York (Hold Her Tight)" by Restless Heart - I'm filling up as we speak !

A song which I bought for my best friend, when his mate's baby son died, was See you on the other side by David Grey. Before I got this for my friend, the song never bothered me, now I can't hear it without getting quite emotional.

I have yet still to hear it but "We Are The Champions" by Queen.

You might think an odd choice but my mum was a massive fan of Queen and 'We Are The Champions' was played at her funeral. Believe it or not, I have never heard it since then - it was just over two and a half years ago too.

I am sure I will be a gibbering mess when I do eventually hear it.

I have to agree with Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton.  Some so far unmentioned ones are In My Life by the Beatles and Porcelain by RHCP

You great bunch of softies (I'm pleased to say), just looking at all your posts, some ace music in there, guaranteed to bring a lump to anyones throat. 'sweggie' - "Old and wise", what a belter, ain't played that for a while,Queensryche - marty j, wonderful stuff, TEAK 36, just love Sarah Mclachlan & Robbie's "Angels" of course, thanx HerDarkSide. With regards to "Angels", I read in the paper today that a couple could not have that track at their wedding as it 'may upset ethnic minorities' - WHAT ?, have they completely lost the plot - it's a song for christs sake - oops, sorry, shouldn't have said christ should I. Political correctness - **** off - get a life ! Once again thanx for the tracks, smashing stuff.

Sorry, also Keane, This is the last time. It makes my friend fill up as well. It means something to me as it was the song that was played at the end of a drama production I did at school. It was the last one I did with my last drama teacher. Every1 cryed when she left. She was fantastic
