My 16 yr old daughter has been a huge fan for as long as she can remember.When we discovered that this might be his last tour she was beside herself - almost to her like seeing the last Beatles tour.

How can he let 330.000 people down - could he have not just bitten the bullet and carried out his commitments.After all they are the people who allowed him to make this selfish decision in the first place.

Mind you how the mighty fall - I believe he is a genius with words - but he he is human after all.What goes round comes round.

How does anyone else feel about this - some people have worked holidays abroad round this etc - 2 wks notice!!!

I think he is a self centred prxck who is yet again trying to get back with his wife.

Should remember his trailer park start in life!

And please dont anyone be pious about my daughter hearing his lyrics.I listened to the the Sex Pistols and the rest and the music and lyrics enlightened me rather than any adverse effect.

apparently he's in hospital being treated for addiction to sleep medication.  I think it's likely there's a lot more to this story than "exhaustion".....

Wouldn't dream of being pious over your daughter hearing his lyrics, but do think it's hilarious that both she (and you) are getting so uptight over this.

My friend was planning to go, her dad bought her 6 tickets as soon as he heard about the concert, as she is a huge Eminem fan. When the news broke that he was cancelling, she was absolutely devastated and broke down in tears.

I understand that your daughter is devestated but if the man has been hospitalised, i dont think it would be right for him to discharge himself and do a world tour.

Agreed. Performing the tour dates could make his condition worse, forcing him to perhaps retire early, making his fans even more devastated.

To all the people who have not noted the time I posted this - after a long shift - I DID NOT KNOW UNTIL THE NEWS BROKE THIS MORNING HE WAS ILL AND HOSPITALISED.

If it is any comfort (probably not) I'm a big fan and traveled from Scotland to Manchester to see him a couple of years ago and was really disapointed with the show, he just doesnt do well live

I don't know why most of you are being horrible to Buddy.  So, she's upset that Eminem has cancelled his tour....obviously didn't know he was ill so I don't know why your jumping down her throat.  Personally, I can't stand Eminem or his music and couldn't care less if he was not to perform ever again but I don't understand why you have to jump on Buddy for expressing her views.  Everyone just chill please!

Yes most are you are correct I have reacted - but only because I felt you were all jumping on the bandwagon and most people when backed into a corner do come out fighting - specially when some didnt appreciate I didnt know.
