3. as for Satriani, Malsteem, Vai etc. .. good grief, if that was all it was about then we may as well all give up.
4. Have heard Nick McCabe mentioned in these kind of discussions but please, if you're going to hide behind that many fx pedals, you're hiding something.

6. Gilmour has his moments.. but he's hardly ever surprised you has he. When's the last time you were listening to a Gilmour solo and thought .."oooh that's something new from the chubby posh rocker"?
7. And surely George Harrison would have picked up a few more ideas after 10 years in a band with those two?
