"Man of Constant Sorrow" by The Soggy Bottom Boys :)
Do you mean Man Of Constant Sorrow? The best known version was by The Stanley Brothers, but I'm not sure if it's the original .
The Soggy Bottom Boys was the name of the "group" in the film itself (George Clooney and his pals)!
...but the voice of george clooney in that song is actually a bloke called dan tyminski.

First published in 1913 by the blind Richard Burnett.  The earliest recording was in 1920 and was performed by Emry Arthur.  Also recorded by the Stanley Brothers and others (Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys).  Also played by Bob Dylan on Bob Dylan (1962).

I thought Dan Tyminski was the guitarist with the Soggy Bottom Boys in the recording studio..?  Ralph Stanley actually does the lead voice in the film.
