Well, strictly speaking it's there, in 'The Cloud' waiting to be downloaded. I'm not sure whether to be impressed by the technology or worried at the invasion of privacy.

The permission to download isn't hidden away. It's in settings/iTunes and App Store/ Automatic Downloads (choose from music, Apps, books, updates) Set them to off (no green showing) if you don't want any of these

OG it's not in your library, just the cloud, waiting to be downloaded. Bands make very little money from Albums and absolute shed-loads from Touring on the back of a new album.
Apple makes it easier to delete the new U2 album from iTunes libraries...
