How do they get their chart? as it's normally really different to the real chart.

think its what used to be called 'the independant chart' - the official chart used to take it figures from 700 different music retail outlet figures. The independant chart wasn't as reliable with figures from only 500 outlets.

Thats why the BBC were keen to call the official Top 40 'the most accurate chart there is'

CD:UK's chart is compiled by the same people who do the official chart, but they don't include Saturday's sales for the really rather good reason that they haven't happened yet. And as Saturday is the peak day for singles sales, a lot can change over the weekend.
