Need Help Finding A Song.

I have been racking my brains trying to think of the name of this song for over an hour now. I am hoping I can jog someones memory here.

Details about the song:

I think the song is about a girl who has been or is going through some form of abuse whether it be Mental, physical or sexual. Either that or she is going through some sort of depression and has no one to talk to.

I think the song may be from the late 90's or early 2000 not 100% sure.

As far as memory serves me I think the music video features a girl running through some sort of building and later on you see her in a room holding her head in her hands.

I would say the song is sort of upbeat (considering the subject it is on). I also think there is two versions of it. One version being the original where the song is focused on the vocals and the second version has been remixed somewhat which kind of obscures the serious subject that it is about.


Please help me find this song. Every time my brain thinks it has it, it doesn't. I know it will come to me eventually but sooner rather than later would be good.
