I don't get it.  A freaky voiced massive guy with a penchant for lipstick. Nice melody, but madly annoying voice. The guy who accepted the prize is the singer - I don't know if there are more of them or what - Gives me the creeps....(shudder)

Radio 2's voice of evil Jeremy Vine likes them. That alone is enough for me to despise them utterly. Still, a month or so of extra sales and it's all downhill from there, just like everyone else who's won it.

Hmmm..."I haven't heard of them so they must be crap". An interesting and very profound standpoint, people. There's a lot of music out there - not just the mainstream playlists of daytime radio and MTV. The Anthony album is truly amazing - and everyone's been talking about it all year. It was clearly a popular choice at the event - you don't get a mass standing ovation for nothing. Open your minds a bit - put the bland CP and KC aside and give it a try.

I agree with Quizmonkey, people are far too quick to dismiss a band or artist just because they haven't heard of them. I'll admit Antony's voice is something of an acquired taste :-), but at least hear it before making your minds up. Then if you don't like his stuff, fair enough.

I'd have preferred The Go! Team or The Kaiser Chiefs to have won, but in a world where the likes of Gareth Gates and Craig David constantly infest the charts, I'm all for something different getting a bit of attention.
