Has anyone heard Ireland's Eurovision entry, Playing With Numbers, sung by Molly Sterling, aged 16, and if so, do you think it has the potential to win?

I'm not sure RTE would want to be lumbered with the cost of staging it next time.
I don't think they have a chance but if they did, a lot of the conversation on RTÉ last night was - should they be lucky enough to win and host it, it would be like the 'Gathering', it would bring Eurovision tourists to the country spending money and that makes up for what is spent on hosting the event - like I said though, I won't be backing it
Hmm a bit 'croony'
Mind you if The Voice can win anything's possible :-)

Does anyone who saw the selection programme last night think that the Charlie Mc Gettigan song would have done better?
Question Author
^ would do better
I seen the Late Late last night and I'll never think Charlie Mcgettigan's songs will ever get anywhere - the one time he did win eurovision no one knew as riverdance momopolised the show in millstreet cork
Needs more facial hair, really.
Question Author
Ducksie, did you think any of last nights songs were good?
No elliemay, I thought they were all a disaster
Question Author
No worse than other years IMO.
same here, at least we don't have dustin the turkey:)
I was about to post a link to 'Rock n Roll Kids' under the heading : 'Charlie McGettigan: A Warning From History' and then I remembered the YouTube links don't work for me. Relief all round
That was actually at The Point. Niamh Cavanagh won at Mill Street. And the year before it had been Johnny 'Why Me(why indeed)' Logan. That's the trouble with Irish winners. There have been so many they tend to become a blur :-)
got venue mixed up so, was sure riverdance was at millstreet
was at the point...my age is showing
1992 having just checked was Linda Martin. I remember the song and who wrote it but have absolutely no recollection of the singer. A blur indeed :-)
I like her too, but there are more pontential winners, here is the official website of Eurovision 2015 and all the participants http://www.eurovisionaustria.com/.
Just heard it - not impressed
