There is a song that i swear is by New Order, or at least is sung by Bernard Sumner, and the chorus is '...I want to be there where you are...' and repeats it several times. I can't seem to find out who does it.

I'm not sure if its the 1 your thinking off cous to be fair the lyric is quite the same as u said. The song is on "Evergreen", by "Echo and the Bunnymen" called "I want to be there (When you come)".
