I Went To See A Live Screening Of La Boheme Last Night From The Royal Opera House,it Was Marvellous. This Particular Production Was First Performed Forty One Years Ago And Last Night Was The Very Last. I Have Seen This Production Twice Before At The Roh

Not my favourite composer, but I've been reading the reviews, and I'll bet it was wonderful. I'd really love to see an ROH production.

Last month I was at the ROH when they were live screening La Fille Mal Gardee by the Royal Ballet. There was a little horse and cart on the stage which caught on the curtain revealing the stage hands shifting the scenery around. They must have been kicking themselves that it happened on filming night.

I listened to this live on Radio Three a few days ago, and it sounded wonderful. It been a long time since I was at Covent Garden, but I saw a Ring Cycle there 25 years ago that I still talk about.
