I have such a wonderful life!!!!!

Enjoy Andy.
Jammy devil Andy!
Hi Andy! Lucky you! I love Beth Hart's music, great voice!
My old boss used to have a Jazz programme on Radio Tay (Alan Steadman). Out of curiosity I listened a few times but only liked a small amount of the music.

Enjoy yourself - but not too much.
So what are you up to till your first interview? Is the festival televised Andy?
Say hi to my wife's nephew Paul if you see him. He's the tall one with the beard. :-)
Jazz? Hope you enjoy it more than I would :-)
Evening, Andy....long time since I was in Montreal....but it was a visit to remember....be good.... ;-)
The Montreal was always mainline straight-up jazz for years. It put a lot of people off. These days, it features a lot more variety. Literally something for everyone.

Having said that .......... I'd pay good money for Joshua Redman's autograph ;o) (Top jazz tenor sax player for those who don't know)

Also, hope you get to meet Huey Lewis. A really nice guy :o)

Enjoy Andy! I have to say I agree with this quote........“I don't get jazz. It always sounds like a bunch of toddlers let loose in a music room.”

To be honest, I know next to nothing about jazz, or its appeal, but in the nest traditions of my writing career, I have blagged a slot with Jazz Journal Magazine, for whom I am doing a stack of interviews.

My very first interview for them was the bass player Christian McBride, which was a profile, and then they asked me to expand it into a full feature, and it's going to be on the July cover!

So, it's proof that you don;t have to understand something deeply to write about it, just be able to ask the questions from the people who do.

As well as jazz, they don lots of other stuff - Steve Miller played last night, and Pokey Lafarge is on next week, so lots of diverse music for everyone.

I am soooo lucky - and I do appreciate it!
How wonderful to appreciate your job so much Andy! Proper warms my heart, does that ;)
