Hi, there was a song recently that sounded like nothing I have ever heard before... it was a male voice, pretty sure it was an african male voice singing about being lonely, alone... there isn't much backing music, just him singing, maybe about someone he has lost...

I'm wondering if it is perhaps a song from the album by Anthony and the Johnsons - I am a bird. There is a beautiful, if not strange number on there about being lonely.....hope so
