OASIS release the second track from their number one LP, Don�t Believe The Truth, on August 22.

Penned and sung by Noel Gallagher, The Importance Of Being Idle, features Welsh actor Rhys Ifans in the video, which comically sees him and the band dressed as funeral parlour staff.

Yep. The fact it doesn't make my ears bleed is enough to tell me it's Noel. The song shows they don't just rip off The Beatles (it would seem they can rip off The Kinks too).: -)

Only joking. Actually, having gone right off Oasis some time back, I think it's the best single they've released in yonks.

I thought The kinks the first time I heard it too, littleoldme. They'd probably exhausted all the Beatles back catalogue and needed someone else to rip off.

That said, it's probably why I actually like the Oasis track!
