In the song Diamond Eyes, Myers is the only one singing "Boom-Lay, Boom-Lay, Boom". How do they achieve that crowd like chant that you hear? It's pretty badass \mm/ Gave me some writing ideas

I would think they layer the vocals on different channels. Get him to sing it a few times and combine the channels. Either that or other band members are joining in. There's only around three voices there, if that. Depends how raw the singer is.
Multiple takes of the same person sometimes, but usually you’ll get everyone from band musicians, engineers and even the tea boy.
Great thing is you don’t need AutoTune – overall the combined effect is about right in terms of pitch. All you need to remember is to stand some way back from the mic so it picks up more room resonance and sounds more natural (much better than adding reverb later).
