The Nice were the 1st band I ever saw in the late 60's. That clip has brought back fond memories, Tony.
Your welcome, melv. The first time I heard of Keith Emerson was when he was with the Nice, I think it was because he stuck some knives in the keyboard of his organ ( musical organ that is ) during a performance of America.

Given the exponential rise in stardom in those times, I'm afraid these sad occasions are going to be weekly and daily, from now on.

Anyway, the band is going to be 100dB louder, tonight.
Pretty sure he was in the backing group for PP Arnold on at the Torch, late 60s. Bit hazy there. But she was hot.

Indeed The Nice were PP's backing band during the period when she recorded The First Cut Is The Deepest. ELP were part of the soundtrack of my youth, very sad
They were the backing band for PP Arnold, togo. Davy O'List went on to join King Crimson.
