Good goalie, it's not about lyrics for me, I need a good tune....and Ed doesn't appear to have any
I don't mind you not liking his music, but why do you feel the need to make comments about his appearance ? He's just entertained thousands of people, what did you do today ?

What does what I did today have to do with my commenting on Ed's appearance? It is relevant to comment on his appearance because image is usually an important part of a pop star's package. It is good that the likes of Ed and Adele are doing so well, it in Ed's case I don't get the appeal of his music so cannot see what he has to offer. But of course I accept he has masses of fans.

He speaks highly of you too!!
Easy answer...

Ed Sheeran is successful because he records and releases many songs that people like.

He then goes on tour and plays those song live and many of the same people pay money to see him.

The same formula works for Adele, Sam Smith, Stormzy, The Killers, Barry Gibb Madonna and Katherine Jenkins.

It was interesting reading the comments on that article vernonk. I've come to the conclusion that Ed Sheeran is like Marmite. You either like him, or you don't.
