The Mod movement of the 60s was credited with bringing into the UK, through the clubs and "discos" the R&B sounds and modern bands and artists such as Who and Chris Farlow. There was however a less known appreciation of what is now called Ska, which went on to become Rock Steady, Reggae, 2 Tone and even the dance movement Hip Hop. Takes me back to the "Torch" in the mid 60s.

You know what, between us we put some great tracks on last night. Have been having a review this morning and have added some to my toob fav list. Sharon surprised me some old skool ska in there, loved the Tennors and Derrick Morgan(you wouldn't be keeping that name nowadays if you wanted to be on the cool wall) The 21.41 track posted by Sharon is good but I have a better version here.
