Are we sure this is a real interview? I skimmed it earlier and thought it jarred with my image of Mr Jones down the years as a talented but quiet kinda guy.

That said, I'm usually wrong with this stuff.

I don't think from a technical point of view the beatles can be described as great musicians .
Whether or not they were the worst in the world is a different matter .

While were'e on the subject of the beatles , i really cannot see what all the fuss has been about the group .

To me they produced just ordinary songs - nothing special

mamya, so it was jasper carrott, he made me laugh many years ago ...

Voltage, you only have to compare to band like Pink floyd, Queen, The Eagles...and such.

They were a pop group who wrote pop songs and played their instruments quite basically.
