This modern r'n'b codswallop. I would say that's too good a descripton for it, there's no rhythm, and even less blues.

Just where do they get the titles for music nowadays (sh** I sound like me dad) ? Commercial, technogarage, funk, urban, hardcore, hip,hop, trance. It's all codswallop if yoou ask me. Nowt wrong with Bob Seger, Robert Cray, and Led Zep.

I agree about James Brown, but check out 'Get Lifted' by John Legend and although not r'n'b - prob more soul - Jaguar Wright 'Divorcing Neo to Marry Soul'
