My wife wanted a small unit to play CDs etc in one unit with speakers and I bought a JVC RD-D90 (£110 at Currys)

Plays CDs, has a DAB radio, can play audio stored on a USB stick, and can also play music stored on your phone via Bluetooth.

Has a remote control

Fairly small unit and we are very happy with it.

They also do a cheaper JVC RD-D70 at £85
