There's few that get my goat. One that is about a grown man wanting to dance with his father. Something not quite right in that family there. Then there was that Dolly Parton album with some horrendous track about her little Andy. Avoid both like the plague.
I absolutely detest Candle in the Wind. Elton is a legend and I generally love his music but that one always grates on me... I also cannot stick My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion, whenever I hear it playing in a shop I want to get as far away as possible.
The Luther Vandross song was about him as a child dancing with his father. The words are quite sad actually (my best friend lost her Dad when she was young and has to turn the radio off when that song comes on as it makes her cry)
Another one I can't stand is Spanish Stroll by Mink de Ville (probably due to the phoney Latino accents)
