Can anyone help me identify a song that I remember being played quite a few years ago now. Kind of bluesy/rocky, gruff but tuneful vocals, chorus about it never snowing in California, I think. Not much to go on, but any help much appreciated. Cheers.

There's a singery-songwritery/ bluesy-rocky, tuneful but not too gruff song called 'It Never Rains in Southern California' ....

Seems it never rains in southern California
Seems I've often heard that kind of talk before
It never rains in California, but girl don't they warn ya
It pours, man it pours

It's by Albert Hammond, who's big claim to fame these days is that his son, Albert Junior, is lead guittarist in The Strokes. INRISC was a sizeable hit, and probablypaid for the private schol where Junior met his baandmates. Hope this is the one oyu're looking for.

Bless you! That will, of course, be the right one. Snow...rain...well, I was close-ish. Many thanks Mike. Albert Hammond, eh? Yes, now it all makes sense...
