All Girl Rock Group 1960S

Trying to recall a short-lived all girl rock group from the 60s. Thought it was the Honeycombs, butnot them.

British, white, dressed in glitter, mid-60s. Usual line-up of drummer, couple of guitars, maybe four, or five inall.

Anyone’s memory working better?

Mari Wilson's image was born in the 1960's, but she wasn't around performing then.

I suspect, having read Honey Lantree’s obituaries, that my memories from 55 years ago are skewed, and that what I AM recalling is The Honeycombs, with Honey joyously beating out the rhythm. I was definitely there in the 60s, but the amount of drunk and smokes I put away make any recollections suspect!

there was only Honey in the Honeycombs, the rest were guys. I didn't realise she'd died. Have I the Right was great.

Yes I know, jno - that’s what I mean by my memory geing skewed/screwed. I “saw” five girls. Oh for a time-machine to check things!
