'You Are My Sunshine" was written in the 1940's by Jimmy Davis and Charles Mitchell. It is popular enough to have been adopted as the official State Anthem of Louisianna in the USA, and over two hundred and sixty versions of it are known to have been released. Among the more well known are those by Rosemary Clooney, Bing Crosby, Erroll Garner, and Andy Williams.
