Could anybody tell me why when I listen to Robbie Williams singing Make Me Pure on his new album I am reminded of Leo Sayer? Does it sound like something Leo Sayer might have sung cos the more I listen to it the more I can imagine old Leo singing it.

Sounds just like he could be singing One Man Band......never thought I'd see Leo Sayer and Robbie Williams in the same sentence !!

Thank you Robbiesos, I thought I would never get an answer as I expect the Robsters fans have never heard of Leo Sayer so yes, it was strange to see both their names in one sentance. I have loved music since I was a young girl and even though I have just turned 59yrs I adore Robbie, not Leo, and I am pretty sure I have none of his records, but I will see if I can find a copy of One Man Band and see if there is a likeness.

I have to admit to owning a Leo Sayer greatest hits CD (as well as some original vinyl) as well as Robbie Williams music. I guess admiting it is half the way to recovery !!!
