Who covered the XTC song "Making plans for Nigel"?

I recently heard a cover of the song "Making Plans For Nigel " by XTC by a female artist, but can't find out who it is.

I heard it on the dutch airline KLM's airmiles website strangely enough.

I've done a google search and it only comes up with R***ie Wil***ms' cover which I care not to hear!

Any ideas?

Nouvelle vague did a really good cover. They also did a good cover of Depeche Modes Just can't get enough.

I think you're looking for Nouvelle Vague as well. Bossa Nova cover versions of New Wave/postpunk songs shouldn't work but in this case I can't recommend them enough.

You'll find samples at the link below which ought to confirm if it's the version you've heard. My personal favourites are The Guns Of Brixton and Too Drunk To... <edited by Answerbank>. ;-)
