Thanks for that melv16, i'm a big fan of Peter Green and never knew this documentary was on, just set the record button.
The track, Man of the World, one of my favs of all time, it is ironic as well, considering the lyrics and the way his life was lived.
''I saw them in the late 60's, along with Chicken Shack and Duster Bennett. Ohhhh those were the days:-)''
I saw them, along with Chicken Shack, Led Zeppelin, John Mayal and loads of others at Bath Festival in 1969, Fleetwood Mac were by far the best that day.
Mushroom, i suppose youre referring to peter green's splinter group.
Incidentally i haven't seen the documentary.
Not living in the uk hopefully ill find it on youtube.
I think mushroom was referring to their early days, piggy. They were really into Elmore James and their first albums reflected that. I saw the Splinter group and it was shambolic. When he went off on one, his guitar was muted and someone took over the playing. Sad really, he should have never been on stage.

I interviewed PG after a show in 1996, he was still playing really well, but he was such a fragile and damaged person to talk to, it was heartbreaking.
