Blue Moon

When Ricky Hatton fights, he enters the ring to a fast version of Blue Moon. Anyone know the artist?

Not sure who sings this but I think it's the same one used at Man City. There was a version specially recorded a few years ago by a little known manchester group and it could be that. If i can find out any more i'll let you know.

Am pretty sure it's Van Morrison that does that version of blue moon!!

Thanks for your help and I think you are right with the latter answer. Someone else told me that he thought it was a group of Man City supporters but I can't find the name anywhere. Any Man City fans out there?

Thanks for the answer. Think its a bit too punkish for Van Morrison - just can't imagine him singing Blue Moon in that style!
