Cliched song lyrics, New Kid in Town

Listening to this song on the radio and laughed at the number of cliches in the lyrics. Yes it was a big hit and was very popular but was the writing bad? what do you think of this. Any other such memorable cliched songs?

Don't know about cliche's but can't believe someone has rhymed 'hold her' with 'shoulder'! Surely the worst lyric since Chris De Burgh's 'dance/romance' disaster! x

Any song that rhymes any two or all three of 'lady', 'baby' and 'crazy' should be banned by the Geneva Convention and its writers publicly barbecued.

Gregg Alexander does this a lot, but I think his worst cliche-stringing attempt has to be this one:
