There has been a question as to the identity to the dancer in the 'Hang On Sloopy' video for some years. In 2019 I answered here in the answer bank based on a Google search. After connecting with an editor in Seattle on an article he wrote, last month the dancer has been identified and a video is in production set to be released this month, Aug, 2021 on her identity, life and how she became the Sloopy Girl dancer.
Can answers be modified? If not, when you find new information that subject and it is closed, is there is no way to add to post even if you are the author?

If you are talking about a thread on here, simply start a new one and confirm your additional information. If people are interested, they will respond.

If it was this thread for example then a lot of members may have moved on now.

^^^ What a strange thread that is, Mamya. 20 answers over 14 years!!
I don't know about 'members may have moved on', but apart from B00 (who I miss) and this OP, the rest were 'fly-by-nights', active only on that thread and never seen again.
The question was asked repeatedly back then too strangely.

Of course I should have also added that threads older than a month don't appear in Latest Posts too.
I see I was a little late with that last bit of info.

Sorry.
Yes the related questions list on mamyalines link shows several very simlar questions under different names.
