One could never describe adeles songs as ''cheery'. To me she's the female version of Leonard Cohen

Without the sheer poetry. In my most humble opinion, of course.
Oddly enough there's more to life than Adele whilst there's less of Adele these days.
I'm not mad about her but I like her and a few of her songs, 'Rumour Has It', 'Someone Like You' to name but two.
This is GOLD though!
Just checked it out. Not too bad on first listen, more mid-tempo than a real slowy like Someone Like You or Hello. Reminds me more of her first album, and songs like Hometown Glory or Chasing Pavements, both of which are great tunes.
I like her. She’s drip feeding her tracks, building the memento.
*momentum*
She knows how to play the media.
Whatever Adele is paying her publisicists, it's not enough - as evidenced by that fact that people are getting annoyed by the level of exposure being given to her new music.

I see where you are coming from, but to my ears, there is a world of difference between the two.

A similarity of slow thoughtful musical delivery does not make for an accurate comparison in my view, if we assessed comparisons like that, all modern pop chart music would sound exactly the same.

Oh, hold on ...
I really like Adele’s voice but do find this latest far too similar to her past stuff.
Still like her though, some of her past stuff is, to me, really lovely.

Hope it's more than you pay your proof reader ;-)
"I see where you are coming from, but to my ears, there is a world of difference between the two" agreed, Leonard Cohen's voice is much lower and her chest is flatter.
Andy it's not aimed at those who get annoyed. it's aimed at fans and those who might be tempted

Doubtful.

I pay my proof reader a six-figure salary to find errors like that and correct them.

There will be consequences ....
Is she that chubby crooner whose always singing about sad stuff?
If you will watch programmes aimed at slovenly housewives, sqad, you will have to put up with matters of great import to them.
Frankly, I'm astounded that you don't have better things to do with your time.
