Is it true (London-Irish band) The Pogues made another version of Fairytale in New York but this time set in London?

Did anyone see The Pogues and Kitty Meloo (!) on Jonathan Ross's chriatmas show on Thursday night? Oh dear me, NO. Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. The band themselves were fine, Shane could hardly stand (hilarious) and he really should get some teeth, but Kitty was just way out of place. I know they need someone to sing Kirsty's part, but even Charlotte Church would have been a better choice, and I can't stand her either!
