The Sounds and Vast

Have these two bands ever had a hit over here in the UK? some of their songs are really good.

can't speak for The Sounds, but i'm pretty sure Vast haven't had a hit.

I do agree Vast are very good...i love "Touched" and "Pretty When You Cry"

I agree with Pretty when You Cry too. But my fave has got to be Free, think its the best one that they have ever done! love it and i they used it in CSI too

According to the latest Guiness Book of British Hit Singles & Albums, which goes up to the end of 2003 (so situations may have changed since), Vast reached number 55 in the singles charts with Free in 2000. Martina Topley-Bird hasn't had a hit single, but her album Quixotic did reach the dizzying heights of number 70 in the album charts in 2003, and got nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize.

No sign of The Sounds in either chart though.
