Getting Away With It (Electronic Feat Neil Tennant Lyrics (Pet Shop Boys))
That was Electronic's first single. I don't know whether Neil was supposed to be a permanent member at that point - it was just credited to Electronic, without a "featuring". Neil also sang lead on Electronic's later single, "Disappointed".
Electronic were basically Bernard Sumner (New Order) on vocals and Johnny Marr (The Smiths) on guitar/keyboards. They worked with Neil Tennant (pet shop boys) occasionally, including on the record "Getting Away With It" which this line is from.
There was also "the patience of a saint". This and "getting away with it" are on the album "electronic" by electronic, 1993.
