Has anyone ever heard of Columbus guitars. As ive just bought a 335 copy. Thanks

These instruments started out being manufactured in Japan in the late 50's the production moved to Korea in the late 60's. the columbus trademark comes from a british importer who puts the label on generic instuments. the first models were very cheap but as production moved on so did the quality of the instruments. Today these guitars still come from korea though the quality has moved backwards of late. Source - The guru's guitar guide
