Message Appears On My Tv - You Can Review.....help Please!

Just recently on my LG smart tv whilst watching either a live program of recording a message appears briefly at bottom of screen saying 'You can review a variety of products associated.......@ and there is a box beside it to tick!

Can anyone explain what this is - it only happened recently. I do have a Humax box connected but do not think it comes from that but rather the smart tv. I tried pressing it once and the orogram I was viewing minimised and adverts appeared. I then ried to get back to program but had to switch tv off and on to recover program

Your TV is in store mode (demo mode). You can change it in the settings

Wow. Was it a demo model ? How long have you had it, and has it always done that ? I would have thought they'd be defaulting to 'normal' use.

It may have had a recent update (they usually happen overnight) and reverted to store mode.

OG, every tv has a demo setting.  TV screens don't look good in very bright shops in the normal setting, it makes the screen far more vivid.  Uses more electricity, too

I purchased TV new but last week when I switched it on there were various updates which took a while!

Have altered it back now thanks Barry - would never have known about that in a month of Sundays!
