Does anyone know where i can get a copy of an old dance track called "express yourself " by Franschene ? not on vinyl . Does anyone know of any dance compilation albums which include it , if so what is it called .

According to discogs.com this track has only appeared once on cd. It was on the CD called 'Hit The Decks Volume 1'.

However, this cd is a megamix which means you will only get a small part of the track.

Somebody has offered to me on vinyl (oh well)- just express yourself promo urban culture - which they say has a female vocalist on it , could this be the track im after ?Tracy how could i find this out ? many thanks .

You're in luck! I've just listened to Hit The Decks Vol. 1 for the first time & the track you want is actually:

Family Foundation - Express Yourself

This was released on both vinyl & CD with many remixes in 1992 (and an absolute classic track too!)

After some searching around it turns out the artist name 'Franschene' was only used on the original white label release. I've seen the CD single around on ebay quite a few times (I even picked one up myself recently!). I can't think of any albums it appeared on though, at least not any that featured it unmixed & full length.

WOOHOO TRACY What can i say , you have ended my months & months of searching & have tracked it down on ebay as you suggested , even got a small sample of it here at : http://classictrax.nu-hosting.net/15337.mp3 . ( this brings back lots of good raving memories ( what i remember of them anyway : ) ) Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction you was right it is family foundation .
