The only way to get it to the dump was to take it apart. My own experience is that once you start to take it apart it becomes like a coiled spring. Wires and bits start to spring out everywhere. It's a bit like opening a well packed package from a mail order company, then deciding to return the goods , and trying to get everything back in the box.....it just doesn't all go back in in a neat package.
Have you thought about an electric keyboard? Probably a lot less hassle!
