It was Men At Work. they got it from the warning signs around the open manhole

Thanks for the answers, but the radio contest I was trying to get the answer for actually said it was NOT Men at Work - that was my first thought, too, and they told me it was wrong. :-(

There is also a Dance/DJ outfit called the Stanton Warriors which is a make of a Manhole cover?? and what the group named themselves after! Not sure if that is what the question meant but it is very quirky!
