Can anyone help me, trying to locate this on CD or MP3, i know i can get it on 12" but need it on CD.


Really appreciate any help

its by Chemical Brothers and called AFRIKA (spelled with a K)

I think you are looking for an early norman cook effort - a 'megamix' of maceo and the macks and the jackson sisters.
Ive got it somewhere on 12" - it came out about 1988- but i dont think it was ever on cd. If i find it anywhere on cd i will repost but i am not hopeful.
As far as i can see you can get both Maceo and the Macks- Cross the tracks and Jackson Sisters - I believe in Miracles on CD (separate ones though) but not the track you want.
It Began in Africa came out on Urban Records (hence the name ) and they didnt release any CD's.
If you want my advice - just get hold of the two tracks on their own (the Urban Allstars thing was a bit rubbish anyway).

Thank you for your replies, dear Amulet i think you will find that the Chems version was nearly 14+ years after the Urban version!!


Gary Baldy, thanks but as stated i already have vinyl, i just wanted to know if anyone had transferred to CD or MP3.
