2 ipods
i had an ipod and recently got a new one. now itunes only recognises my new one. What can i do? how does it work?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I have 2 ipods running on my computer...my friend's,who is Australian and staying with me,and mine.We ran the disc for both and registered them separately and, each time we connect,it comes up with Barbara's Ipod or Bridgett's Ipod.I'm quite computer illiterate and seem to have managed it purely by chance???We have the same library though so not sure how you can run separate music libraries...that's for the experts to explain!! Good luck.
Dead easy. ..as stated it can happen. We have 4 in our house! Before you start are you running the LATEST (suggest you go to apple and update your itunes for free) itunes?
Keep your library as exactly that. Then create a playlist for each of you using the + icon. drag your fav tunes to your playlist folder and repaet for each user. You can choose which folders (all or some) to sync with each ipod etc. good luck
