Not much to go on sorry. Im going back a bit here. A reggae? type song with the singer telling how he "Picks up da grocery bill and walks up da hill. I can only recall bits+ bobs like "Sell I a pound of that ting there". Jim Davidson sang it on one of his shows but he was'nt the original singer. TIA

It's called "Dat" by a fellow named Pluto Shervington.

Opening lines

"Rasta Azzi, from up de hill, decide to check on him grocery bill,

And when him add up de tings he need, got enough to buy little weed."

Such briilliant lyrics, you just can't imagine Girls Aloud singing that can you

Hope this helps

"Him hand 'pon him jaw lord,
Riddim I am just meditate,
Dem times are so hard lord,
I man I think go emigrate,
I make up me mind lord,
I might as well go and sign me fate,
So I forward the market,
I sight the butcher boy by his gate"

Check out "Your Honour" by Pluto also.
