anything played incensently on the radio which it seems you can't escape from. Even great songs get annoying (stairway anyone) when you hear them too often so i'll opt for anything by will young or gareth gates as they are all over the media like Jonathon Ross all over David Bowie.

Has to be "Gotta get through this" by Daniel Bedingfield. 10 out of 10 for the most irritating song since that offering by the Wurzels in the '70's

I agree with sft42 with the Will Young/Gareth Gates/Whole Pop Idol or Pop Stars idea. I hate the fact that manufactured cr@p goes flying into the number one spot yet you get decent releases by the likes of Foo Fighters or Bon Jovi who struggle to get to about number 5. Oh boy have you got me angry now!!!!

Any classic hit tune covered by a manufactured band or popstar who probably wasn't even born when it was originally released!!! Boyzone murdered that Tracy Chapman hit, A1 slaughtered the classic 80's hit by A-Ha, and don't even get me started on Blazin' Squad!!! If it ain't broke, don't sing it!!!

I`m sorry to bring this up but you seem to have forgotten all those annoying female vocalists that insist on holding all their notes for as long as possible. Mariah Carey and Whitney spring to mind. And as for Britney and Shaniah Twain I cant stick them either!!
