Mylo - Destroy Rock n Roll
"David Booooo e" "big country" "michael jackson"
Mylo song which has been mentioned. Talks about Reo Speedwagon, Pink Floyd, Blondie etc....
Well, in Destroy Rock and Roll, all the bands are spoken rather than sung. Arthur Conley's 'Sweet Soul Music' mentions lots of soul singers- Wilson Pickett, James Brown, Sammy Davis Jr, Otis Redding etc.
Eric Burdon and the New Animals' "Monterrey" springs to mind, if it's from the late 60's...?
Maybe 1985 - Bowling for Soup: Springsteen, Madonna, way before Nirvana, there U2 and Blondie and music still on MTV.

I know you got the answers, but does anyone know if its true that the voice naming the bands is really an american female preacher and this was part of a service she done?
